How people are self-proclaimed experts and willing to second-guess the experts on all things political and military, but don't do the same for their hairdressers and plumbers?

That's 'cause we all do it all the time....we don't need experts on CNBC to tell us when a plumber screwed up...if there's water flooding out of the toilet, someone screwed up.

Come on, haven't you ever seen a bud's new 'do and immediately asked him "who jacked you up?"

I know I have...at least once to YOU.

Hell, sometimes it seems that half my conversations with my dad are about listening to him complain about the shoddy work the plumbers/mechanics/contracters/whatever did on the last thing he hired someone to do.

The only difference is that EVERYONE is a self-proclaimed expert in matters most mundane, so there's no market for it on TV.
