So, it appears he's still not going to support Bush, whom he feels is employing "dangerous" religious positions. I think he's going to have to make up his mind which set of issues is more important.

I was hopeful that the French would cooperate to become the laboratory for a social experiment in legalizing gay marriage, so we could observe the consequences and act accordingly. But unfortunately they've decided to reject the idea, and let us conduct the experiment on ourselves. They're not as dumb as they sound.
